Workplace Cohesion

Workplace Cohesion

Building a strong, effective teams, creating a healthy, engaging environment, encouraging debate to stimulate new innovation and fresh thinking – these are the pre-requisites of every successful organisation.

So what happens when things go wrong? Conflict at work, among teams, peers or managers and direct reports can have a devastating impact on the productivity and effectiveness of an organisation.

We provide a range of interventions to support the creation of strong, cohesive team working. Services typically fall into two camps: reactive – delivering mediation interventions and conflict resolution, and proactive solutions – helping individuals and teams build a cohesive team, with a focus on business outputs and performance.

Our Approach

Workplace Wellness's mediation model is constructive, voluntary and forward thinking. The focus is to move on from past behaviours towards a future of improved working relations. This shared process delivers results because agreements reached together are more likely to succeed than imposed decisions.

Our model take three distinct phases:

  1. Assessment and Intake: Does the situation require mediation, or is there an alternative route which would be more effective?
  2. If mediation is the most useful intervention, an independent mediator works with the parties involved to establish the ground rules, and helps participants reach a mutually agreed objective(s)
  3. Statement of Agreement - reaching a successul conclusion which is beneficial and acceptable to all.

The Benefits

Fewer formal actions, retention of key people and increased performance and morale - these are just three of the reasons why organisations choose to work with us.The bottom line is that our service saves time and money.
